I am very excited to announce a new Throwing/Fielding instructor. As you know Kristin is taking some time off until the 1st of the year. For the meantime I was able to secure a top quality instructor to help take over the all important lessons of Throwing\Fielding. It is Kelci Alsip. Here is a short bio with a couple of pics - I attended high school at Evansville Central, where I started varsity softball for four years and graduated in 2007. I achieved multiple awards including first team all conference, third team all state, academic all city, was an Indiana South All-Star in 2007, and voted by my teammates for the Kiwanis Mental Attitude Award. I hold career offensive records including singles and sacrifice bunts; and single season records including singles and at bats. I attended the University of Evansville from 2007-2011 and graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and an Associates in Physical Therapy Assistance. I primarily played played outfield under coaches Gwen Lewis and Mark Redburn. Currently, i am working at The Heritage Center as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I am beginning my 4th season as head coach for the Indiana Matrix travel softball team (14u). Last year, Indiana Matrix won 4 tournaments and placed 5th in the 12u USFA class A Nationals in Panama City Beach, Florida. ***I know this is a little short notice but if there is anybody who wants to start with some Throwing/Fielding lessons she is willing to come in on Sun, Oct. 12th @ 2 and possible 3. We are going to continue to split the big and small ball up when possible. So for now we will over the 2 for small ball and 3 for the big balls. We can mix it up if we have 2 of either one so they can throw to each other. We will only take 4 girls per hour. The lesson cost the same as any other lesson. Please call/text me @ 812-453-7283 if you would like to sign up. It will be 1st come - 1st serve. She will be on the schedule from here on. For right now these lessons will be on Sun but we can start up some Sat lessons as soon as all fall ball games are over.
