I am very proud of my from Jordan Kholoud Barakat and congratulate her for her new mission in Life , The First Laughter Yoga Teacher in Jordan. 10 years ago we were introduced to each other by a Yoga Teacher from Jerusalem , Tzippi Negev. As i was facilitating Laughter Yoga workshops among Jews&Palestinians Tzippi thought it will be a great idea that Kholoud, a peacemaker and teacher from Jordan will know me. We became connected through Skype, Internet, she was always eager to know more about Laughter Yoga and to learn it. On 2007 it was the first year for us to meet REAL LIFE in Israel when Kholoud was admitted to take a Peace Building course in Arava Institute for the Environmental Studies in Kibbutz Qetura where Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians and Internationals are meeting for Peace building and Nonviolence Studies, for that we praise Arava Institute. Kholoud Introduced me to the Institue and i did start running seminars there. We met few times more in Jordan&Israel. We based our communication on happiness, laughter&optimism and recently Kholoud asked me train her in a nutshel, via skype so she can run some laughter exercises with the Syrian Refugees staying in Jordan that she has been working them....she reported how they were thirsty for this stress relieving experience. But most of all , recently she decided to travel to Bangalore and take the Laughter Yoga Teachers Training with Dr Madan Kataria. I would love in the name of all Israeli Laughter Yoga community to bless here for her new commitment, as weve seen than the opposite of laughter (inner wars-external wars vicious circle) leads to nothing but bloodshed. youtube/watch?v=k2O9hvPiMDA
