I am very proud to be from a family were Military service is a tradition. Today I honor and say thank you to the following members of my family: Roger Mcguffey-Revolutionary War, Samuel Dunmire, Jacob Seilbaugh-civil war, Daniel Dunmire-Spanish American war, Clifford Dunmire, John Mcguffey, Lewis Dunmire, Ortis Dunmire-CCC essential skill service My siblings Thomas Dunmire, Linda Waring, her husband, George Waring, Jr, Jerry Dunmire, brother in law Antonio Barile, their children: Jerry Dunmire, Bill Dunmire, Alexander Dunmire, Todd Dunmire, George Waring, III My Step Brother, Thomas Winn, brother in law William Holderby My husbands family: Charles Edwin Hacking Sr, WWII, Charles E Hacking Jr, Reserves There may be many more of whom I am not aware. Some served on the battle field, some in the motor pool, some working on projects too critical to be shared with us and some in essential support jobs like railroads, building infrastructure or guiding in planes to a landing field or getting the paperwork done to get supplies and troops what and where they needed to be or forecasting weather for bombers. To all the military veterans, active and reserves who have sacrificed their time, talent and in some cases lives to protect our freedoms and our lives past, present and future and to their families who have supported them THANK YOU for your service to your country and your family.
