I am very sick of the idea that provable objective reality is somehow Political. The worlds climate temperature IS increasing and IS changing the global climate, and the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere IS INCREASING. The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has nearly doubled in the past 200 years. We as a scientific species have been measuring both global temperatures (records kept all over the world on a daily or more frequent basis) and the amount of Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been directly measured for a long time, and there are ways to determine the carbon dioxide that had been in the atmosphere into the distant past. THAT IS REALITY. Its not convenient when someones personal political views do not coordinate well with reality, so I can understand why some choose to confuse opinion with fact, but I still think its invalid.
