I am way behind on my thank yous, so herere a couple for Uncle Walt Trandum. We had a very rare family get together last weekend, and Uncle Walt provided a chunk of freshly caught steelhead which was relished by all. My sis Kimberley McKaig, brought some nicely spiced dry pulled pork with the fixins and the next day we made a little breakfast hash out of that with green peppers and red onions. My daughters Melanie Ryan, and Teri Ryan, brought me some books, two of which were, Marley and Me by Jon Grogan and American Gods, by the incomparable Neil Gaiman. Finally, this week on the commute, Ive been listening to a CD that Uncle Walt gave me a few months back by one of the best pop tune writers youve never heard of, Hoyt Axton.
