I apologise to all the fantastic 9A people for leaving the super very well organized re-union early. My reason to not participate to the end was caused by uncle bens legs not cooperating in any way and the MRS also getting tired. Between the 2 of us we total 167 years with the Mrs giving 85 to the sum. With over 61 years since the big YES and the fact I bruise very easily, I felt it would be wise to be sensible for a change, quite an accomplishment for me. I had an excellent time seeing such a tremendous group and having great chat and laughter. To all those I did not recognized believe me it was not for lack of trying, old age is definitely catching up. 9A should be very proud of being the first airline in Atlantic Canada to operate a passenger flight with an ALL FEMALE CREW. A most pleasant occasion not only for me but to everyone else as well. No wonder it is a happy time when we all get together. I have very found memories of the initial start up and the dedication by all to overcome the problems and show the public we were second to no one. I thank you all for making my job easy and therefore holding me back from constantly barking orders which would not be constructive. I am proud however to have in some way help a number of young pilots getting started in their career with many of them now fully successful and handling the big jets. Now I can only try to write occasional advice on operating safe flights. Thank you all for your kindness to me through the years and I wish you all great health, total happiness and continued success, GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIENDS. MAY YOUR GLORY SHINE AND HARD LUCK NEVER CATCHUP WITH YOU. UNCLE BEN.
