I apologize that some of this is being repeated from Carlas earlier post, but please read this in its entirety because there are new prayer requests and some exciting new praises! First, thank God for the prayers He has answered to date! Second, we thank each of you for your prayers! Morgans surgery went well! She is also still breathing fine without oxygen. Praise the Lord! But, she is now showing signs of discomfort. She has a fever and an elevated heart rate. She has not rested since the surgery. Her resting heart rate is normally below 65 bpm. Currently, her rate is bouncing between 80 and 113 bpm. Please be in prayer that the Tylenol they gave her takes away the discomfort so she can rest. Also, please pray specifically for Morgan to respond on command, and especially to open her eyes and respond with eye movement. These are very important issues that will determine if she is accepted by the rehab team. They will come by tomorrow for another rehab assessment and they need to see positive improvement. Now, the wonderful new praises! Morgan has shown new expressions with her face today that we have not witnessed since the accident. Please be in prayer she can respond to us with her expressions until she is talking. Also, coming out of surgery today we heard her make her first sound. It is like a hum or a vocalized sigh! Carla and I couldnt believe our ears. It was the first sound made in three and a half weeks! Praise God! Thank you all, we know God hears our prayers; we have witnessed many miracles already in Morgans recovery. We love you all! Kevin
