I apologize to everyone for my post of a couple days ago. I am embarrassed and ashamed of my lapse in judgement and immaturity in that action. It was deeply unfair, to the person I was speaking of, to all of you who read it and to me. It is completely contrary to how I try to conduct myself on facebook or who I want to be in real life. I was profoundly saddened by how that person must have felt reading the words of support I received- which were based on the love and defensiveness some of you felt on my behalf, but some were harsh and not on point. Which was all my fault. I f*-ed up. Pure and simple. As naive and ridiculous as I realize this sounds, my intent in that previous post was not just to vent my hurt, but to draw a line in the sand for myself. So I would not be able to retreat into trying to ignore real hurt and problems in the interest of making everyone else comfortable. Something I felt like I kept doing to my own detriment. Instead I perpetuated a facebook dynamic I abhor. I am so sorry. Ack, its fun when you run face first into your own stupidity. I will be going on a facebook diet for awhile. I will pop on to check personal messages here and reference event calendars, but will be silent until I recover my equilibrium.
