I argued back in 2006 that an East African Community was being rushed, the issues and actual reasons that led to the previous collapse had not been resolved and that the present community would fail. I made a few other arguments that I now wish I had written down. For now, suffice it to say, I believe our government owes us an explanation as to why Tanzania is consistently missing at all this infrastructure stuff that Presidents Museveni, Kagame and Kenyatta seem so consumed in. For the record, I think that there are so many flaws in the way integration has been managed on the Ugandan side and I fear that there will come a President that will overturn the present regimes work. For now though, can someone tell me why Tanzania is being left out?? Ugandans deserve to know!!!
