I assume that there will be daily/weekly ground breaking ceremonies in the UAE, Malaysia,Brazil, Singapore and other such countries that have witnessed exponential socio-economic and infrastructural development in the last 2-5 decades....................... I wonder what the noise is about, I wonder the budget that was voted for such needless jamboree.....,(at the the least,estacode for Abuja based attendees), I wonder what milestones we are celebrating..... In my wondering state, I look forward to the day when governance will not be made to look as complex as it seems now, The day when we will have a serious leader who is driven by the vision of a New Nigeria, A season where we will commission Second Niger Bridge, Fourth mainland Bridge, Lagos- Ibadan Expressway, Portharcourt expressway all in one day without Noise of fanfare...A day when the government will approve the upgrade all teaching hospitals and demand 3 months completion with close monitoring using very transparent project management methodologies... A day when the child of the road side mechanic and his privileged banker customer will be able to attend same public schools...A day when government will provide basic needs for Nigerians as their rights and not as a favour.....Just thinking
