I attended a Domestic Violence Conference today. It was filled with great information, heartbreaking stories, and enlightening resource information. With all that was presented I was very upset that there was NOTHING to address the Offenders, Perpetrators, Batterers!!! Why are we as a society so quick to throw folks away rather than treat them. These Offenders will b back on the street, in society, and in our lives. We must address the ills, The hard things, the awful, the incomprehensible. Tho we dont want to deal wth those Awful people, if we dont work to help them, trust me all those awful things will never cease to exist! !
