I awoke very early this morning with a pressing on my heart to send a text of encouragement to 1 of our youth on the 1st day of school. I did not respond, I made my coffee, did a couple things you dont want to hear about, and started my morning devo, but could not concentrate on anything. I literally could not get on with my day till I sent this text. I have no idea if it encouraged or what, I just know I was supposed to send it. I tell you this because, I cant seem to get on with my night w/o encouraging you to encourage somebody if the LORD has put it on your heart. Be a Barnabas to somebody today, because (literally) GOD knows we need it. A wonderful lady at church has encouraged me the last couple of weeks by way of a 3X5 card note, and a song I already loved. She thinks I think shes crazy, but I dont (at least not for that Lilia Sonia Escobedo). Here is my morning text...God is with you, stand your ground and be a light unto a darkend world. Let your Joy be a testimony to your friends who have fallen away. Feel free to tell your kids that as you send them off to school.
