I become ever so more amazed at the similarity between my daughter and myself. I know exactly the struggles she has and I know exactly the things she is so brilliant at. The apple has not fallen far from the apple tree. I am a little bit envious that I didnt get the insights about me from my father that I am able to provide to my daughter. That said, it has taken me a long time to figure some of the stuff out, and I am thrilled I am able to help my daughter cut 25 years out of the learning process. The truly great thing is my daughter finally understands exactly how similar we are and she now accepts the insights gladly. I love being a father and coach.
