I began my career as an equine massage therapist in 1995 when I took my first hands on course. It was TTouch by Linda Tellington Jones. Eventually, I expanded into Massage and Advanced Craniosacral before specializing in Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. My future, it would seem, includes an obsession and complete fascination with elastic kinesiology tape for the horses. Over this time frame, I have completed well over 16 000 treatments. I have been blessed to have so much support from the equine community and I thank you for your trust. While I may not be able to tell you all of the names of those owners, riders or horses, I confess, that each one of those horses has taken a piece of my own heart with them. I will, however, always remember the panicked calls in the dark of night... how an owners voice cried for assistance when the vet couldnt make it. I never forget the look that a horse expresses in his eyes when he becomes free of pain. Some of my most intimate horse experiences are things no one will else ever know.. because it was just me, and a horse, in a stall, all alone. It becomes magical. Other horses I have treated on such a regular basis that I know their bodies better than I know my own! Several horses I have seen through numerous owners - watching them grow, develop and eventually retire. Some horses, I love so much, that when I see them (or photos of them) that it feels like home. A wonderful, comforting place where love is.
