I being the single guy living with Families from time to time I - TopicsExpress

I being the single guy living with Families from time to time I get to see the way couples grow together and learn about each other. As my friend said the other day I am still a single idealist that thinks marriage should be perfect. Well as an INFP personality that is a fault I have, but I am trying to learn and to understand this dynamic call marriage relationship. As I talked with one wife I said I think God made women the way he did to help men understand what he goes through with all of us all the time. I have seen in my self and I think it is a mans trait to think everything is OK and to not ask questions and just keep moving forward. I dont always agree with everything or all the posission of focus on the Family but I do appreciate the material that they have out there for helping men and women understand each other better. Books like men are like waffles and women are like spaghetti, or What every women wishes her husban new about women. ( there is a sequel to that; What every man wishes his wife new about men). I think as a single guy knowing nothing about marriage life but always thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, I think that if I was ever to enter into a marriage situation I would want all the help I could get. Because I am an idealist and think marriage is this beautiful thing and I know how scrude up I am I can only deduct that what I think naturally is the right way is probably wrong and I had better learn to ask question. So my limited advice is if you think you have it figured out (husband to wife, wife to husband) maybe its time to do a refresher course, get a book read it together and set aside the pride for the sake of this special person you have in your life, because not everyone has what you have and you should not wait till there is an explosion to find out you have been possibly hurting or at very least frustrating the one you love. m.youtube/watch?v=-4EDhdAHrOg
