I believe In a life that never ends. I believe it is revealed in Christ who died for my sins. Jn10:10&11, Rom5:9&10 says it all. I dont want eternal life, but, rather I want to experience the LIFE that is eternal. If you HEAR his voice, that is faith. Faith without works is dead. Faith comes by hearing... by grace (is an opportunity to be saved) its through faith, we are saved. Before Christ we were called servants, pilgrims, strangers looking for a city whos builder and maker is God. In the Passover meal Jesus said I no longer call you servants but friends. Jn3:29-he that hath the bride is the bridegroom, but the FRIEND of the bridegroom that STANDETH and HEARETH him rejoice greatly in the bridegroom voice, my joy therefore is fulfilled. Eph2 we are NO MORE foreigners or strangers... for we have come unto MT Zion. We receive a kingdom that cannot be moved. Tho its a deep book, The Revelation of Jesus Christ is revealed to us to know the mysteries of the kingdom. This city with the street of gold is in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the very heart of God! In the heart of God there are many mansions. Its all about him in the father, the father in him, them in us, and us in them. The life that Adam lost, Gods plan was to get that back in us. This time it will be an overcoming life. For it is now in one body and led by one head which is Christ. The word or intellect of God became flesh, walked out for 33 1/2 yrs, overcome sin and defeated the wages of it;DEATH. That word in us will do the same things and greater will we do... BUT we can never mature to a perfect man in the earth if we never experience the LIFE of that word. Understanding is where the strenght is. So the opposite would be lack of understanding we parish. What gives life to the word? The Holyghost. It is the power of God. You cant see the wind but u HEAR it, so is every man that is born of the spirit. He hath awaken mine ear.. awake to righteousness and sin not for some hath not the knowledge of God. Hearing his voice brings us out of the dead. Thats the evidence! ! (Faith is the subtance of things hope for the evidence of things not seen). All gifts operate through that life being revealed. We are in trouble if we go to Acts2:4 to receive the power of God.Jn13,14, 15, 16, 17 is the life revealed. There is no power apart from the life. Its the life revealed that is all powerful. This is the big separation between our Passover brothers and our Pentecostal brothers.
