I believe and I know many of you believe in the power of prayer so I just want to ask my Facebook friends if you have a minute would you please say a prayer for our family as well as all the other families who are trying to adopt from the Congo? Most of you know that Lori and her husband Jeremy have been in the process of adopting from the Congo for two years now. The adoption should be final in a few weeks but since the country has a freeze on exit letters (which is required before the children can leave the country), they wont be able to bring their little girls home until the freeze is lifted. They are making preparations to go to the Congo and live until the exit letter freeze is lifted and they can bring their girls home, which could take months, or even years. This is putting a hardship on several families, and the 750-800 orphans who have been legally adopted but cant leave the country yet. We can hardly stand the thought of watching our child, her husband and one of our grandchildren going thousands of miles away and having to stay for God only knows how long, but we know that adoption is a calling from God according to His Word, and we know that our strength comes from Him through prayer. We know that this will all work out according to His plan and His timing. We are taking one day at a time but we do desire your prayers SO very much!! Thank you...love you all!!
