I believe and know that the world wants alot of different things from ANNIE LENNOX. Too much unfairly. Their personal favorite version, sound(s) and style(s) of ANNIE LENNOX from some time period/stage or another. A artist goes thru a journey. Let them grow develop, create and blossom. If you love unconditionally (as I do) follow the journey if not get off the train (and go back to where it is you liked, loved or you were found containment). The past is recorded for you to listen or to rediscover anytime. It was given birth now let the rest of that artist career, that journey grow & do other songs, styles, and things. Its so unfair to lock down a version of something that is someone else life & craft. Over all you cant always please somebody. After deejaying for 17 years now I have so distances myself from so much music (like I never really wanna hear that record again therefore I totally get & understand why many artist stop performing hits and songs from their catalog. Their are things in your wardrobe that you will want to wear thru out your lifetime but you and I know that theres another half of your wardrobe that you will not want to wear thru out your lifetime. ............. For many years I wanted I Annie to record another Medusa album of covers. Well my wish came true. She has a new album of covers call Nostalgia out in October 2014. The first single is I Put A Spell On You. This song has been covered 100s of times and Ive never been fond of this song until now. Im so please with Annies version of it. Proof that shes was and is still one of the best singers in the world. That soulful voice is pure happiness to me (and millions of others).
