I believe in Allah. I believe from Him comes my sustenance. I believe from Him comes my life. I believe from Him comes my succour. Why do I believe so? Because even though my pay is perceived as low/inadequate by some, people have remarked how lavish and luxurious my life is, hence, they cannot compute why this is so. Cant we just accept that for me, it is a form of succour from Him? Why would I need to drive a better car than what I have now? Just for image? I would, if it were a Lambo, but other than that, I perceive cars as just vehicles, not image boosters (which is the problem with Typical Malays nowadays). I go to Hard Rock Cafe, Chillis, TGI, to name a few places. By right, I shouldnt be able to afford that (according to some people) but I can. So yeah. If people say thats because of money management skills, isnt that also a gift from Allah? Any lavishness/luxury I have, I credit to Him. Any weakness/inadequacy, I credit to my folly as a mere mortal. And He knows best.
