After the angel of the Lord invited the women to come he directed them to, “see the place where the Lord lay.” He didn’t say look, he said to see. I look at things riding up the road every day while on my way to work. They’re only a few things I actually see. I have seen the nice tree house someone has on the edge of a field for a deer stand. I have seen the deer eating alongside of the road. I have paid close attention to these things. Only the other hand there are a lot of things I have only looked at. I have only looked at some of the Billboards on the interstate. I have only looked at some of the exits- I have never been up many of them. These things I look at flash by me like the dotted yellow lines in the middle of the road. The angel of the Lord said, “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” He directed them straight to the empty tomb! Why? Because that empty tomb was the stamp of approval of the redemption of mankind! He wanted them to consider, to chew on the fact, or to think on what they saw! “Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”
