I believe that a mass global coalition of A list movie stars, rock stars, sporting stars and celebs is required to kick start social change....The majority of the developed wests population is totally blind to science, economics and politics....They only interest the majority have in politics is when they need to blame a government for not making the right decisions.....or to blame the bankers for not making them rich, or to blame scientists for making a mistake in predicting the weather... Sadly the real day to day interests and topics of conversation of the majority of the western world is an abysmal array of trivial garbage.... simply look at the shelves in supermarkets and stationary shops...Tesco to WH Smith....Row after row of soap opera garbage....Hello, OK Celebrity Gossip Sports , mostly football, Fashion, cars, gadgets, Stuff ( land fill in a few years) ...For gods sake even the stamp collecting and train spotting magazines out sell the science magazines....! Politics and the economy...well you have to really look to even find them..... So what we need is the Wayne Rooneys, One Direction, and Simon Cowells of this world to all come together in a 21st century version of Bob Geldorfs Band Aid...The public dont listen to Professor Brian Cox, Sir David Attenborough, or the UN /IPPC scientists.... but the will believe Wayne Rooney.....OMG how sad...are we ( mankind) even worth saving if we have already sunk that low....?
