I believe that it is unfortunate that our president is weighing in on the George Zimmerman acquittal and stirring up racial tension in our country. Zimmerman was tried and found not guilty by a jury. This was not a sham jury. It was agreed upon by both sides. If I was a member of this jury I would be very angry at my president for second guessing me. And as to the issue of race, both Travon and Martin are minorities. This is not a Caucasian on black lynching as the president and the media seem to be intimating. The whole thing is tragic, but what I find even more tragic is the politicization of this issue. The whole thing is disheartening.
