I believe that when you love someone, when you really love someone, & they love you in return- you become uniquely vulnerable. They hold a power to hurt you, its like nothing else. It is in the seat of that immense vulnerability that our true character lies. In the willingness to offer all of yourself, especially the weak parts- that is when you are your strongest. Though the circumstance may end in folly, it is not in vain. To risk everything is to truly love. To survive after it is lost- that is when you will reveal your greatest strength to yourself & the world.
