I believe there is an American aristocracy among the elite that believe they are above the common people in importance. That aristocracy, which extends back to our founding, is unrelenting in their efforts to remove the limitations imposed on them by the Convention of 1787 but especially the Bill of Rights that the Anti-Federalists insisted upon before supporting the ratification of the Constitution. Those who held this worldview in the Federalist Party during the founding era, such as Alexander Hamilton, John Adams, and others, worked toward that end with devastating consequences for liberty over the long term. The Federalists advanced their ambitions far beyond the existence of their party by out maneuvering men like Thomas Jefferson through appointments to the Supreme and inferior courts, especially with the appointment and confirmation of John Marshall; I believe that appointment and others like it over time allowed the removal of the limitations of power imposed by the Bill of Rights and the Convention. The Court, through skillful subversive interpretations of the law in cases before them, using the principle of precedent, changed the interpretation of the Constitution without having to go through the difficult process of amending it. Using such terms as “implied powers,” “public good,” “public policy,” and others, as well as perverting the meaning of “general welfare” from the original intent has allowed a subversive and corrupt interpretation of the Constitution that sounds good but has devastating legal and policy implications over the long-term. I believe this was a principle reason for the Titles of Nobility Amendment that was quietly removed from the Constitution after the Civil War by the lawyers that hated it. “If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive, or retain any title of nobility or honour, or shall without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office, or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince, or foreign power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding any office of trust or profit under them, or either of them.” As a result of the perversion of our legal system, power gravitated to the Executive Branch as if the Office of President was a monarchy, not merely the office of an executive officer. Once representation of the state legislatures in the Senate was removed by the 17th Amendment in 1913, there was nothing standing in the way of the expansion of Federal power through the Executive Branch, subjecting the states to the will of their creation through the collusion of all three branches of government into one; the very tyranny the Convention sought to prevent. Treason and corruption are routinely pardoned by outgoing Presidents as our sovereignty and independence is systematically destroyed from within as the money powers that were unlawfully given full control over our economy by Congress and the Wilson Administration, through the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, marches to their ultimate goal of world government under their control. Despite all this effort and success over the centuries they still failed, however, to get these changes actually written into the Constitution, which would seal the fate of the Republic; something I believe is their greatest weakness and the primary reason for a push for a second Convention. My article “A Plan of Action” is a last attempt to prevent the money powers from succeeding in this generation; hopefully setting them back centuries, since we can also take this opportunity to put them on the run globally as well. The misery they have afflicted on the world over the centuries has been devastating, both in lives and treasure, since their greed knows no bounds. It is up to you, the people, to implement this plan and retake what has been stolen from you by restoring the American Republic to the original model and removing the corruption both in the law as well as those presently exercising power in our government offices. Remove the disloyal oath breakers from your offices before they immerse America into a world war that will likely destroy us or a Convention that will redefine government to their liking. Furthermore, after the lessons we have learned from past treachery, I believe that violating the oath of office should be a crime akin to treason with a punishment equally harsh. I have made a suggestion for an amendment specifically addressed for that purpose. Of course the likelihood of such an amendment to pass through any method described in Article V is unlikely, since most of those serving today have either directly or indirectly violated their oaths by consent or under duress. “Any officer of the United States or any state that violates the terms of their oath at any time during their tenure in office shall forfeit their estate and cease to be a Citizen of the United States or any of them. If such officer commits treason by their action as defined in Article III, Section 3 of this Constitution, they shall suffer death upon conviction according to the method a jury of their peers shall prescribe.” – Suggestions for Strengthening Liberty, Thomas Mick, 2014.
