I believe youre in a fortunate position to hear what your close friends truly think about you, not behind your back, but TO YOU in order for you to grow as a person. It is a hard pill to swallow but how else can you grow? YEARS ago I sent an email to who I considered to be 10 of my closest friends asking them for their complete honest opinion of me. Only one responded. The others either didnt care or didnt want to hurt my feelings. But if I ask, Ive opened myself up to receive the criticism. Fortunately, over time, those others have weeded themselves OUT of my life, but I Am thankful to have that one HONEST friend who has always had my back and told me what I needed to hear, whether it hurt or not. Thank you Carline Richardson!! And more recently, Ive also developed a stronger relationship with my cousin LaJuana Donnelly Delaney who knows how to get the point across to me, whether I want to hear it or not. Thank you ladies. I truly appreciate the beautiful women that you are in my life.
