I bisque fired several more sets of the Embroidered Clay Sunflower 5-tile sets. Each set is trimmed and fit together when the tiles are just dried clay (greenware). They shrink a little when bisque fired so I have to take that into account when trimming them. The 5-tile set can be glazed many ways and takes on a very different character depending on the color and handpainting. They work nicely as a kitchen backsplash or bathroom accent panel. It would make a nice decorative panel for a woodstove tile installation too. Here are a few photos of the possibilities:
