I bloody love science. Fascinating talk today by Mel Greaves on using evolutionary theory to come up with better methods of tackling cancers - how sequencing whole cancer genomes might not be the answer and instead we need to look more closely at tumour clonal architecture. SO interesting! He is keen to work with us too on perhaps putting together an article collection on this :D love it when you can get fired up on a topic. Couple that with an awesome few hours happily spent on the beach at the end of the day makes an excellent end to a conference and a happy Gen :D
