I bought my car because of the (almost) rust free body. The odometer says 56k. Due to the issues with my engine, I knew it had to be higher mileage than that. Driving it the last few weeks only fueled my suspicion. I decided to spend the $5 to run a VIN check and discovered that it was titled in NJ (car was originally from NJ) in 2005 with 113k. I can only assume that the car likely has 200k on it now. Plus, upon closer inspection, there is evidence that there has been front end collision repair work done. I still got a great deal on the car, just not as good of a deal as I thought.
