I bow before you today humbly, recognizing that only a humble heart will keep my feet firmly planted on Your path of life. Even though – perhaps especially because of the times we live in, I see my need for a focused faith life – based in humility. Anything else has the potential to destroy me. Thank You for this heads up as I approached You in prayer this morning! You are opening up my heart today as I lay claim to this very special access You have given me – which, for me, is the true definition of liberty. I have chosen this day to worship You – to find my freedom in You. I choose today to say “yes” to all of the promises You have laid before me in Your Word. I see the glory of my God – expressed in Your great Face, Jesus – and I go to my knees as I realize that You are being reflected out of my own face as I pray. What an amazing moment this truly is! You are setting me free, as I wait on Your Holy Spirit – knowing as I do, He is in the process of transformation – as He works in me to make me more like You. I welcome You Holy Spirit into my day today. I ask You to work in me so all I am becomes a mirror image of You. I reject the ways of the world - and take on the ways of the Spirit instead. I recognize You are attempting to give me wings so I can fly on the “wings of eagles” – soaring unafraid to the highest places. I feel somehow like a butterfly emerging from her cocoon – as the end result of this transformation is now taking place. I also thank You for all of the testing that has gone on before this transformation. Without that testing I would never have become as strong in my faith as I am today. I also stand today against any counterfeits attempting to get in the way of the path You have designed for all Your followers. I accept creativity as my right – and reject anything that might try to bind me – and hold us captive – preventing us from receiving the “best” You have to offer.
