I braved the outside world yesterday. I had Bret go with me in the car to the grocery store. I drove without glasses for the first time in ... forever! I could see objects in clear detail and was amazed. I took it slow and cautious and was very nervous, but like Bret said, We made it in one piece. Mom gave me a pair of glasses to wear to block out the glare and brightness of outside. They were also amazing. This next week will be a follow-up visit with my eye doctor, another job interview and hopefully schedule surgery for the other eye before the end of the year. So looking forward for new beginnings in 2015.
