I breastfeed my baby who is 8 months and am looking to start trying with hubby soon. My period has been erratic at best . After getting off the pill, I didnt get my period for a good 5 months while we were trying to conceive and soon found out I was pregnant. Now since the birth of my baby, I still have not gotten my period. Id like to keep bfing my son. My doctor advised me that ovulation is decreased during breastfeeding and that I should stop when I get pregnant. Have any of you dealt with this? Any advice on breastfeeding and getting pregnant?
