I built this system: amd fx 8320 asus m5a99x evo r2.0 sapphire r9 270x 8 gb kingston hyperx fury 1866 64 gb ssd 1 tb hdd. windows 7 64 bit i have overclocked the processor to 4.5 ghz and the gpu to1175 mhz using amd catalyst and whenever i run programs i encounter huge amount of stuttering. I have tried playing left 4 dead , cs:go , and half life 2. I get 100+ fps and its usually around 150 but it drops down to 4 fps suddenly and immideately regains fps. it happens in most demanding programs but not when playing browser games. i have checked that my cpu and gpu are both not overheating. what can i do to get rid of stuttering?
