I, but I and eternity. With the birth of an angel and the death - TopicsExpress

I, but I and eternity. With the birth of an angel and the death of a beast, Comes a sense of accomplishment at a bountiful feast. I lived, but not a soul by the act was benefited. I raped, but I was an innocent child of misfortune. I murdered, but I was a victim of untold hatred. I pillaged, but I was leading a nation of ignorance. An angel and demon have but one major difference, Opposite sides of a coin do they owe allegiance. I rampaged, but I was enforcing the laws of the land. I destroyed, but I was defending my love and liberty. I lied, but I was upholding the practice of law. I incited, but I was spreading news to the witless. Eternally drawn into battle, where neither may win, Both die for what they believe in, the outcome of sin. I exploited, but I was styling trends in fashion. I hoarded, but I was sustaining my future generations. I titillated, but I was entertaining and fascinating. I marketed, but I was selling what no one needed. The very first sin, carried with the birth of every man, Pawns to a grander game, is what it means to take command. I preached, but never practiced or prayed upon it. I reminisced, but all that came were my fears and horrors. I regretted, but I was nothing but a weak human being. I died, but I had nothing to show or left to be seen.
