I butchered my Trinidad Scorpion plant about 2 weeks ago. Last week I had hardly any groth, but this week... I have it planted in a 12 self watering planter with moisture control and palm tree soil mix (added a touch of Organic Fertilizer when I chopped it). Im completely away from my plants during the week, so I water them once a week leaving the bottom full of water for it to grab as needed. It was a hot one today, Weather Channel app says its still 98 here in So Cal and its 6:20pm. So they all were hardened at the topsoil and warm and moist a bit deeper. Also pictured is my final picking from March this year. I started (first timer) this Butch T Trinidad Scorpion and 2 Bhut Jolokias (twice the amount but the same size) from seed this time last year. All but maybe 5 peppers were really small. Im hoping to have a better season this year. I added to my collection with 2 - Reaper seeds and 2 - 7 Pot Brain Strain and this weekend a Jays Peach Ghost Scorpion. The bigger plant is kinda hard to see with the light I have, but its my bigger of 2 Bhut Jolokia plants. Are the leaves supposed to be small? It does have about 4 peppers on it as of this week. Any tips would be greatly appreciated as I am a novice grower trying to enjoy the spicier side of life :-) lol Thanks for reading.
