I called for a long overdue dialogue between the city council and the City Engineers Office tomorrow during the city council session to get their comments regarding various projects that up to this time have not been completed or worse have not even started in spite the fact that funds have already been allocated. Whats taking long for projects to be implemented or turned-over to the city government. A substantial number of projects have been approved during the former administration and yet up to this time they remain approved plans... We also noticed that some projects are inferior. Do we lack construction firms? Are we rushing construction works and not allowing period for cement curing? Is our bidding procedure the problem? or... or... or...? We shall find out tomorrow.
