I called the mens prayer line last night. (klm). Only for the second time in 14 months Ive been in Flint. Because I wana get so much closer to God. See leaving home at 14 and doing what you wanna do all your life (Ill be 51 this year). You cant break that cycle on your own no matter how hard you try. Yes I love God and I desire to live my life this please and see here but I dont always do that, see I can be very honest & transparent today. And when I speak on doing what I wanna do, its going at this walk with God alone sometimes we think we can do this by ourselves, but I cant. The Word says draw closer to God and He will draw closer to you, resist the devil and he will flee. But the scripture thats on my heart today is. You fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me, everything you heard from me and saw me doing. The the God o f peace will be with u. So God I ask you to help me focus my mind on what is good and pure and I know it takes practice but I can do it, and so can you. Its so much more I wanna say but Ill leave you with that have a very blessed day love you klm. Also realize how easy it is to listen to a sermon and forget what the preacher said. And how easy it is to read the Bible and not think about how to live differently. So in order to get closer to God I have to do things different today. Because to whom much is given much is required have a very blessed day
