I came across this article this morning and was struck by the realness of the questions the author asks herself and her readers! I do believe and agree that marriage is a gift and a blessing from the Lord and something that I daily desire, but I am learning that it is not the end-all! Christ is! He has given me the rare and unique gift of singleness for this season of my life, that I may give it back to Him! May I give my life, as a single woman, wholeheartedly to Christ by serving the church and those around me with my time, resources, and love! May I live each and every day for His glory and in His joy! May my life be one of making much of Christ in a season that I have not chosen, but has graciously been given to me by the loving hand of my Father!
