I came across this on my news feed today and I feel it bears repeating (this is not my experience, but a friends): Driving down the busy boulevard this afternoon. Little curly white fluffy doggie with tags running in and out of the cars, stopping traffic up everywhere. Looked like she had already been injured once, had a small limp. Im sure its someones sweetheart, as she had absolutely no street sense about her. People trying to catch her here and there, with no success. (Including me) Some people actually HONKING at the ones trying to slow down for the poor little dog. Sure enough, sweet little thing got hit, by someone impatient and going too fast. I heard the yelp from a block away. People holding their arms over their heads everywhere in despair for the sweet little curly dog. A nice woman from a DIFFERENT vehicle got out and finally picked the dog up in her jacket, I am hoping he will make it. People, I know its California and were all very busy but PLEASE slow down and think past yourselves once in awhile. Broke my heart. ♡
