I came across this page and was reading some of it and I am amazed at what the Catholic doctrine preaches on this issue. I can go all the way back to Genesis and prove that our salvation is secure IF we have truly been born again. The very premise that one can walk away from their salvation IN HIM is as bad as walking up to HIM and kissing HIM on the cheek after betraying HIM. I could turn this into a 100 page book easily but to keep it short and simple lets look at something real fast. Salvation belongs to the LORD and the LORD alone is what my Bible says. My Bible also says that we are bought with a price. My Bible says that ANYONE who calls upon THE NAME of the LORD shall be saved. But since scriptures are always debated lets look a little broader and deeper if we may. To say that one can walk away from something they do not own is simply impossible. I didnt say they were lost but rather that they didnt own their salvation. REALLY???? Yep, that is true! You see the Bible is clear in that HE has our salvation .... NOT us. If it were possible for us to lose, walk away from, deny etc. the salvation HE gives through HIS marvelous grace then what we are saying in a nutshell is this: IT IS POSSIBLE TO BREAK HIS COVENANT WITH MAN!!! I do not believe that is possible. What about you?
