I came home yesterday after being out of town for 5 days to find - TopicsExpress

I came home yesterday after being out of town for 5 days to find out that my Pastors - Pastor Scott Lelacheur and Pastor Connie Lelacheur had resigned earlier that Morning during the Service at Zion Christian Church. When I originally read the few comments from fellow church members I dont believe I had time to truly process what I was reading while I was walking to the Shuttle. I got home and after unpacking and getting settled in , I found myself sitting on my couch and taking a moment to catch up on what I had missed out on while I was on vacation. I came across a few post from fellow church members and I instantly found tears flowing down my face. Honestly, they were tears of sadness, tears of uncertainty , but above all tears of Joy ! Tears of Sadness - I am sad because two people who have shown me what unconditional Love truly is are moving on. Tears of Uncertainty - We all feel this when there is change and it is normal to wonder what is Next. Tears of Joy - I can have Joy in this time because I know that My Pastors are being let by the Holy Spirit and God is Promoting them I stopped for a moment and thought to myself about the times people in my life had moved on to new phases in their lives and was reminded how God was still God and after time I was able to see His hand in each of the Promotions - Sometimes we forget that our Pastors are People too and they, just like us have to obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. 12 Years ago, Pastor Scott and Connie made a Life Changing Decision and moved to Michigan in obedience to the calling God had placed on their lives and because of that We Zion Christian Church and the Surrounding Community is better for it - I knew each Sunday morning I was going to hear a Word From God be it Extraordinary or just a simple reminder of Who I was in Christ ! Because I Believed that My Pastors heard the Voice of God and were always obedient to deliver what God was saying to them for this Congregation and Community! Just think of how fortunate the Next Body of Christ and Community are going to be to have Pastor Scott and Connie in their Lives - If they had not Obeyed and Stepped out in Faith 12 Years ago, we would not have been the recipients of what God had Planned for us @ Zion. This passed year has not been the easiest year for me personally and through it all, One thing has been constant - My Pastors Love and Care for me and their Belief in me , no matter what I was going through. Knowing that has been powerful in me moving onto the next phase of my life and the calling God has entrusted me with - Thank You Pastor Scott and Pastor Connie for Obeying God and for making a Difference. Thank you Pastor Scott for never compromising the message and always speaking from the Heart ! Thank you Pastor Connie for encouraging me as a Worship Leader, you both are forever my Pastors ! I Love you both and am excited to hear about how God is going to use you going forward !
