I can assure you that NO consultant in his right senses will back this reckless, dastardly and clueless action. Whoever might have advised the Government is certainly the Greatest enemy of the Govt. and the innocent, unsuspecting people of Nigeria. If they succeed in cancelling residency training in Nigeria, then ALL DOCTORS MUST unite and tell them to their faces that the end of Under-graduate Medical training in Nigeria has also come. Then they must be prepared to handle the consequences of having a Country where those books titled Where there is no Doctor will become the reference text and as for the result?. Let me ask the architects of this nonsense; what will become of the Post-graduate Medical Colleges? Even in the Guinness Book of Records, this type of Rubbish has never been recorded. How can you be faced with a threat that has never been experienced in human history, and as a Govt instead of bringing every body to come together and strategise to find out a way out, you are busy trying to destroy the house.
