I can be misled by something that was originally deception, - TopicsExpress

I can be misled by something that was originally deception, particularly when those promoting it havent checked into it well enough because of parental endorsement, or because of that income potential it provides—but much more often simply that occupational opportunity it provides—its promoters, including whatever benefits a large portion of the public now think it provides to others as well as themselves. Something like that can be very deceptive. Despite how through my upbringing I became vulnerable to accepting that [yet it was always fishy by seeming a little too artificial, therefore emotions were often ramped up to make up for that deficit, I now realize], I was still, however, able to test something such as this over a long period of time according to its professed basics or emphasized majors—which is merely a healthy exercise of skepticism, so healthy and normal that there would be no way that handling it in that way could violate the faith requirement of this belief system, were it legitimate—to see if it could somehow remain consistent to what its scriptures claim to be its most important elements or parameters and to also see whether those basics actually work as it says they would or should. For if those basics or emphasized majors are not being maintained, and if those ultimately dont work, then no matter how good such a faith might seem to be, it was nevertheless a deceptive product originally, which means it is still deception today. -DL
