I can happily announce that my neurologist assured me that I wont be needing surgery. I couldnt be happier with the news. The past month has really tested my faith with the unknown. While I was in the dark with my test results I had my family and friends there to lift my spirits. I am truly blessed to have the most beautiful souls in my life. I will forever show my gratitude. Some life lessons Ive learned in the past 30 days: 1. Life does not stop because of what you are going through. 2. Words and actions both speak loud! 3. Never diagnose yourself using WebMD. You do not have a PhD. Leave it up to the doctors because youll be adding another symptom to the illness..... Anxiety! Anxiety only makes things worse. 4. Be patient. Take life with one step at a time. John asked me once or maybe ten times.... How do you eat an elephant?........one bite at a time. 5. Laughing is the best remedy. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh and also, laugh at yourself. 6. Hug a little tighter. One day the inevitable will happen. 7. Do what makes YOU happy. Life is far too short to waste time on things that dont.
