I can honestly say i really feel Kgosi Tawana is such an unsung hero. I have met a lot of politicians in my life and i am not that easily fooled by the nonsense some say. But Tawana is a incredibly interesting breed altogether. That man is so passionate about what he does and has always made me believe he really cares about his community and about the future of Botswana. It really sad to see someones good nature being used against him. He has given up a lot to stand by what he feels is right. In many ways i am inspired by leaders like him, and i am really struggling to find words, but i have to say if i was in his constituency i would without a doubt vote for him.. Tawana is so real... he could have toed the line and enjoyed the prestigious privileges of the elites of Botswana, but he decided to be his own person and stand for the truth. He aint a saint, God knows he has flaws like we all do, but according to my own personal judgement of the man, I believe he has the best intentions, and i am so not afraid to declare that i am behind him..... Ps: he is one of the first leaders to challenge the governments decision to relocate Basarwa, before international organisations intervened and Basarwa took the government to court and won. He tried to make them see that they were driving Basarwa to poverty and no one listened. I have seen concrete evidence of this. This is not the only reason i think he is an outstanding citizen.
