I can honestly say without a doubt in my mind that the lakers have the best collection of Hall Of Fame Talent out of any NBA team. If you had a time machine and put all the laker legends on one team in their prime they would be the greatest team ever assembled in basketball, even better then the dream team. bring on the filthy if you disagree my team would be coach: Pat Riley point guards: Magic Johnson, Gail Goodrich shooting guards: Kobe Bryant, Jerry west Small Forwards: Elgin Baylor, James Worthy power forwards: kareem abdul jabbar, pau gasol Centers: Shaquille Oneil, Wilt Chamberlain thats still leaving out hall of famers on the lakers like SF. Jamall wilkes, PF/C. Bob McAdoo and C. George Mikan. I put the great kareem as a power forward to make room for shaq and wilt because kareem can actually play that position with his style of game and he had range with his unblock able shot the SKY HOOK. I put Pau on there because I believe he will make the HOF and his talent warrants him to be there I do not include hall of famers who were lakers for a very short time like steve nash, carl malone, gary payton AND dennis rodman
