Ive seen many pics of your daughter (you were so thoughtful as to plaster this innocent babys face all over) and I would bet my life on that, but....thats not the point here. I understand you paid for a blond blue eyed donor, you got a racially mixed donor. A mistake was made, you should be financially compensated. No argument here. But what has me fuming are your comments about raising your stunning little girl. You see, I have first hand knowledge of the journey you are about to embark on. Youre wrong - it is NOT more expensive to raise a racially mixed child. They dont mark up clothing for racially mixed children, nor food, nor medical care, nor schooling, nor housing, nor entertainment, nor vacations....etc. Your comment about her hair is ludicrous!! Your daughters hair is very fine, soft and curly. That is a common hair type and anyone can cut it. You say you live in a white very well to do neighborhood, and they are prejudice and youre afraid of how she will be treated. Moving to a racially diverse neighborhood will be less expensive and actually save you money. And BTW, I would think they would give you more of a hard time for your lifestyle, not your beautiful daughter. The ONLY thing that will be expensive are her therapy sessions, to try and fix the damage you are inflicting on her. You could have handled this in a dignified manner without spreading your business all over the news, along with her face. Protecting your child is a parents first instinct after their child born. You sacrificed her protection for financial gain. You thought that dragging this sperm bank out and giving them a public shaming would up your financial settlement. Guess what? I work up the street from them and tomorrow Im going to ask if they need a witness to speak on behalf of all the lies you told about raising a racially diverse child. I hope I see you in court!!!
