I can not believe the comedian Guy Richards has the nerve to come back to Mid-Coast after his behavior at the last MCCNA . Friday night he refused to perform because there were not enough people in the audience. His contract was he gets paid 1/2 the door. After someone promised him Saturday night would be better, he reluctantly performed over an hour late and after several public temper tantrums. Keeping in mind we also paid for his hotel room. Saturday night comes and the rumors of his behavior Friday night caused a very low attendance. He refused to perform again screaming at the sub committee in the hallways of the hotel. His contract, that he wrote, was shown to him . He wanted his entourage of family to get in for free, as well. He said he had no money on him and he would go on if his entourage was allowed in. I offered to lend him $60 (my bad) he said he would go to his room and get money to pay me back. So. I paid for his tickets. Go figure, he said after his performance that he will not give me a dime. After his performance , he requested a meeting with our committee. It was 1am by the time we all got together. We all sat down and gave him his time to share. We listened to 45 minutes of a raving lunatic having a temper tantrum-his face was red as a beet and he was spitting as he screamed. He brought his mob famous father in to let us know we were being sued and we were being charged $2000 for rent for his spot light. He let us know we violated his contract by not having a dressing room for him. A female member of the committee raised her hand and questioned him on his contract and Guy jumped towards her screaming in her face....her boyfriend jumped in between protecting her from the abusive attack. Then about 5 members jumped in between to stop it. Guy went screaming down the hallway back to his room. We were not aware the hotel had been having issues with him, also. The hotel called the police and had him pack up his belongings and escorted him from the hotel at 3am Saturday night. The next day we realized, Guy was charging all his meals for him and his family to his room.NA had to eat that charge,too. Please do not support his performance at DAF.....He owes me money and he owes NA money. His show was all about making fun of Bi-polar people...he is known as the Bi-polar Comic and he is a total douchebag.
