I can relate to the feeling behind this.. Truly this is beautiful.. Nonetheless, I would like to add a personal thought!! The question that was posed here was, what did your spouse save you from??? Id like to comment my belief.. I believe that before an individual even begins to seek out a committed relationship, that individual should save themselves!! Why is it that individuals go on the quest for relationships when they know they have baggage from the previous relationship? They have not learned the lessons, nor done the appropriate work on themselves to ensure that the next relationship is more successful.. Healthy!! They have not truly forgiven themselves or the people in their past.. They are broken, hurting, angry.. Consequently, many times they lure a unsuspecting healthy person to themselves... Then bring drama and chaos into their existence.. All because they did not take the appropriate and necessary time to be alone with themselves.. To look within.. Do the work., learn the lesson.. Forgive.. Determine within one self to behave wiser in the future, etc. Wouldnt it be wiser.. more beneficial.. to work on self!! Know that you are truly qualified to be in a healthy and mutually benefitting relationship, before you go down that path? Seems to me, youd be sparing yourself and the other person involved, a ton of heartache and misery!!! I also believe that to be the responsible and loving thing to do!! Nonetheless, to each his/her own.. I would never judge another human!! Truly, Im just sharing my inner thoughts!! Nothing more.. Nothing less!!
