I can relate to this little girl and my heart goes out to her and how she must feel. When I was 4 I was attacked by a dog. I had to have my face reconstructed and had many genuine fears and insecurities as a result. In grade school, I was made fun of on the bus when kids asked me why I didnt share the Kool-Aid I spilled on my face and would point and laugh at me. In middle school, mean girls called me Scar Face and I remember crying in the locker room. It can be cruel growing up and being treated differently but I learned the importance of kindness and unconditional love to all of the differences that make us who we are today. So, just be nice to people, okay?
