I can remember not that long ago when conservatives complained that courts were “legislating” from the bench. However, they now wring their hands in glee as the Supreme Court’s five MAN super legislature regularly strips citizens of their rights on behalf of the wealthy and powerful. The real battle for American Rights is not being fought over whether “Obama is comin’ for our guns,” or whether Obama wants us to have a better system of health care. Those arguments are diversions to keep Americans’ minds off the real issues of whether the rich and powerful will control every aspect of our lives while we get the leftovers–a loss of rights and a dwindling standard of living.
